Department of Mobility and Digital Transformation

The CyL Digital program of the Junta de Castilla y León is developing 331 face-to-face courses in March as part of its digital skills training for the entire population.

Once again, the Department of Mobility and Digital Transformation’s commitment to reaching the municipalities of the nine provinces is evident in the fact that more than half of the activities are held at their Rural Associated Centers (176 courses), while the rest (155 courses) take place in the CyL Digital spaces scattered throughout the provincial capitals.

The training offer is complemented by 28 online courses, an initiative that already has over 60,000 users who can complete these activities for free from their homes without having to travel to any center. The goal is to meet the needs of individuals, regardless of where they live.

Since its inception in 2009, the CyL Digital program has allowed citizens and businesses to learn the basics necessary to carry out vital functions in their daily lives, such as making appointments or checking results through SACyL Conecta, operating the online banking app, or using the DNIe, digital certificate, and Cl@ve system, among others.

Over the years, it has been continuously updated, and in 2025 it offers a completely free training program with the latest developments in digital skills, covering topics such as learning to handle artificial intelligence through Chat GPT. Various courses are also available with the aim of understanding how the main social networks (Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Facebook) or online banking applications work.

The CyL Digital Program goes beyond these courses and also provides a total of 26 certification tests for digital knowledge through TuCertiCyL (12 basic level and 14 intermediate level), a platform that complements the training scope. The ultimate purpose of these exams is to officially certify that individuals have a certain level of digital competencies.

All information regarding the training activities of the CyL Digital Program, the location of the CyL Digital Spaces and Associated Rural Centers, or the e-learning platform is available on the
CyLDigital Portal
