The pairs formed by Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez and Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia have been crowned champions of the women’s and men’s finals, respectively, of the Oysho Premier Pádel P2 held in Valladolid throughout the week.
With this victory, the duo of Josemaría and Sánchez, who defeated Bea González and Claudia Fernández 6-5 and 7-6, reclaim the number one spot in the world rankings, previously held by Gemma Triay.
The match between Sánchez-Josemaría and González-Fernández on the packed central court of Plaza Mayor in Valladolid was closely contested, with the champions capitalizing on break point opportunities in both sets.
Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia Triumph in Men’s Final
The second final featured the top-ranked pair, Valladolid’s Arturo Coello and Argentina’s Agustín Tapia, who defeated Franco Stupaczuk and Juan Lebron from Argentina and Cadiz, respectively, with a score of 7-5 and 6-4.
Coello and Tapia successfully defend their title from the previous year’s tournament in Valladolid, which took place at the Pisuerga sports complex in 2024.
