The President of the Junta and the PP of Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has thanked the general secretary of the national party, Cuca Gamarra, for her work in the position and her «commitment to the values» of the PP, as well as her «friendship».
«Castilla y León will always be your home,» Fernández Mañueco also expressed to Gamarra in a message posted on his ‘X’ social media profile on Monday, June 30, after the current general secretary of the PP has requested to be relieved of the position.
Gamarra has announced that she will leave her position as the ‘number two’ of the PP at the National Congress that the party will hold this weekend in Madrid, but she will continue to be part of Alberto Núñez Feijóo’s inner circle.
