La XVII edición de Artecalle, una feria que destaca la creación artística local y regional, fue inaugurada por la concejala de Educación y Cultura, Irene Carvajal, y la presidenta de la Unión Artística Vallisoletana, Helen Fernández. El evento se llevará a cabo del viernes 11 al domingo 13 de abril en la Cúpula del Milenio.
Participan 35 artistas, la mayoría de Valladolid, pero también de otras provincias como Segovia y Salamanca, mostrando una variedad de técnicas, estilos y formatos que destacan el talento y la creatividad de la región.
Durante tres días, los creadores tendrán la oportunidad de exhibir su trabajo, interactuar con el público, resolver dudas, intercambiar impresiones y conectar con otros artistas. Artecalle se convierte en un espacio de encuentro entre los creadores y la comunidad.
La feria estará abierta en la Cúpula del Milenio los días 11, 12 y 13 de abril, con entrada gratuita de 11:30 a 14:00 y de 17:30 a 21:00h.
Durante el evento, Artecalle realizará un sorteo de una obra de arte gracias a la colaboración de la marquetería Trazos. Los asistentes podrán votar por una pieza de arte expuesta y la más votada será el premio del sorteo, que se llevará a cabo el domingo, día de clausura de la feria.
La Unión Artística Vallisoletana, fundada en 1975, promueve la asociación entre creadores locales y la visibilidad de su trabajo a través de diversos certámenes y eventos artísticos en Valladolid.
The Councilor of Education and Culture, Irene Carvajal, and the president of the Valladolid Artistic Union, Helen Fernández, inaugurated this morning the XVII edition of Artecalle, a fair that showcases local and regional artistic creation, and which takes place from Friday, April 11, to Sunday, April 13, at the Cúpula del Milenio.
The event features the participation of 35 artists (most of them from Valladolid, but also from other provinces such as Segovia or Salamanca) who, through the exhibition of their work, offer a mosaic of techniques, styles, and formats, showcasing the talent and creativity of the region.
During three days, the fair, organized by the Valladolid Artistic Union with the sponsorship of the Municipal Culture Foundation (FMC), will allow creators to showcase their work and explain their process to attendees, interact with them, answer questions, exchange impressions, as well as strengthen bonds with other participating artists and share their passion for painting. Artecalle is established as a meeting point between creators and citizens, a reference in the city.
The XVII Artecalle Fair opens its doors at the Cúpula del Milenio on April 11, 12, and 13, from 11:30 to 14:00 and from 17:30 to 21:00, with free admission.
Furthermore, during its celebration, Artecalle will raffle a piece among the public thanks to the collaboration of the marquetry workshop Trazos. Attendees can vote for a piece from a selection of exhibited works for this purpose, and the one with the most votes will be the prize of the raffle, which will be drawn on Sunday, the closing day of the fair.
Founded in 1975, the Valladolid Artistic Union promotes the association between local creators and enhances the visibility of their work through events such as the children and youth painting contest and the regional painting contest; as well as events like the art market at Plaza de España or its traditional Autumn Salon, held since 1986 and concluding the annual calendar of the Municipal Exhibition Hall of Casa Revilla – FMC.
