The Minister of Economy and Finance, Carlos Fernández Carriedo, and the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Employment, Leticia García; the presidents of the provincial councils of Valladolid and Zamora, Conrado Íscar Ordoñez and Javier Faúndez Domínguez, the 1st Vice President of the Palencia Provincial Council, María José de la Fuente, and the Youth and Sports Councilor of the León Provincial Council, Patricia Martínez, have established the Co-Governance Commission of the Territorial Promotion Plan for Tierra de Campos.
During the working session, the progress of the initial activity boost lines was reviewed. Specifically, the 15,000 euro support grants for entrepreneurship in Tierra de Campos, in effect since October 2024, which have received 15 applications from entrepreneurs under 36 years old in rural commerce, construction, agricultural activities, livestock, and hospitality. This line is endowed with 1,105,000 euros to support entrepreneurship, launch a web platform, and define a tourism strategy within the Tierra de Campos Plan. The line is managed through the Foundation for Business Anchoring and Employment Training (FAFECYL).
Furthermore, the Bank of Projects already has 15 innovative projects evaluated by the Network of Technological Centers of Castilla and León (NODDO) and assigned for development in Tierra de Campos. 1,200,000 euros are allocated to this support line for innovation in Tierra de Campos, available through the Network of Technological Centers.
The Comprehensive Tourism Development Plan, coordinated with the 4 provincial councils through FAFECYL, is in the adjudication and study phase, as well as the WEB platform to promote Tierra de Campos.
Additionally, the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICECYl) has announced grants for investments in municipal industrial land with an additional 5-point support for projects in Tierra de Campos. Also, the Junta provides a 50% bonus on the price of its land for business projects in this territory.
The Territorial Promotion Program for Tierra de Campos aims to mobilize over 93.2 million, with 48.4 million from the Junta, 14.8 million from the Provincial Councils of the 4 provinces, and an estimated 30 million from private investment.
It encompasses a total of 206 municipalities from the 4 provinces with a duration of eight years. The program foresees a mid-term review of its measures and execution level four years after coming into force.

The formation of this working group for the Plan’s actions comes shortly after the last presentation of the Territorial Plan in Sahagún (León) and completes the presentation in the four provinces of Tierra de Campos subject
