The Castilla y León Regional Government has expressed its concern to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility regarding the situation that has been occurring in the last few hours at the AP-6 toll road in San Rafael (Segovia), and in the town itself, due to the closure of the N-VI road due to a road collapse, and the need to provide a real and effective solution to drivers, especially heavy traffic on the connections from northern Spain, on their route through the province of Segovia towards Madrid.
This was communicated by the Department of Mobility and Digital Transformation counselor, José Luis Sanz Merino, to the Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, José Antonio Santano.
In the last few hours, Sanz Merino indicates, «Asetra, the Segovian Association of Transport Entrepreneurs, and Fecylbus have informed us that significant delays of almost an hour and a half are occurring, penalizing journeys and endangering road safety, once the free passage of vehicles is no longer allowed as it was in some cases until this Monday.»
The Regional Government is requesting a prompt response from the Ministry to normalize the passage of vehicles at this point.
