El Museo Inmersivo Eduardo García Benito es una propuesta digital pionera del Ayuntamiento de Valladolid que tiene como objetivo dar a conocer la obra del pintor vallisoletano. Gracias al convenio de colaboración entre el Ayuntamiento de Valladolid, a través de IdeVa (Agencia de Innovación y Desarrollo Económico), y la Fundación Godofredo Garabito, se ha creado este museo inmersivo que utiliza herramientas digitales como la Realidad Virtual y la Inteligencia Artificial para mostrar las obras de Eduardo García Benito. Este museo digital permite visualizar las obras del artista, conocido por su estilo art decó y por sus portadas en revistas internacionales como Vogue o Vanity Fair. Es una experiencia innovadora en la difusión del patrimonio cultural, que ofrece una visita realista y detallada a través de un gemelo digital en 3D. Además, el museo incluye 165 obras de colecciones públicas y privadas que no están expuestas al público, convirtiéndolo en un recurso cultural y turístico online accesible para todos. El Museo Eduardo García Benito cumple el sueño del artista de tener su propio museo en Valladolid, y ha sido posible gracias a la tecnología Sperid de digitalización del mundo real. Esta iniciativa forma parte de la estrategia municipal de apoyo a los contenidos digitales y al fortalecimiento del ecosistema local en este ámbito. Además, ha contado con una inversión de 60.000 euros por parte del consistorio y se enmarca en el plan de acción de la Oficina municipal de proyectos y atracción de inversiones, Valladolid Now. Apoyo de la Junta a personas con discapacidad en Castilla y León: legislación avanzada y plazas residenciales líderes en España

The regional government has increased the number of special employment centers in the Community by 30% over the last decade, along with a 48% growth in the workforce, to promote the labor integration of people with disabilities.

The President of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, participated today in the ceremony for the XIX Diario de León Award for Social Development and Human Values, presented to SOLTRA, a Leonese company dedicated to the social inclusion of people with disabilities since 2000.

During his speech, Fernández Mañueco emphasized that people with disabilities are a priority for the Junta de Castilla y León, aiming for them to live with equal opportunities and be the protagonists of their own lives.

To achieve this, among other actions, the regional government has promoted the Law of Support for the Life Project of People with Disabilities in Castilla y León during this legislative period, which came into effect in 2024.

Regarding measures to facilitate the labor integration of these individuals, the Junta recently announced a line of support to continue aiding the special employment centers in Castilla y León, where over 6,600 workers are employed. In fact, the regional government has successfully increased the number of special employment centers in the Community by 30% in the last decade, along with a 48% rise in the number of workers.

In the case of León, the Junta provided assistance amounting to 10 million euros to 84 special employment centers last year, benefiting 1,750 individuals. This means that 26% of all government aid to promote the employment of people with disabilities in the province.

Furthermore, the President of the Junta highlighted that Castilla y León has the best ratio in Spain for residential places and day and occupational centers for this group. Additionally, the regional government continues to invest in modern infrastructure, such as the new building of the Assessment and Care Unit for People with Disabilities in León, with a budget exceeding 5 million euros and construction progressing well.

Collaboration with SOLTRA

The Junta de Castilla y León maintains a significant collaboration with SOLTRA, sharing common goals as part of its commitment to people with disabilities and the Third Sector.

Fernández Mañueco emphasized that the regional government supports the operation of SOLTRA’s Special Employment Center and collaborates on various specialized employment routes. Additionally, within the management of Care Dependency, where Castilla y León is a reference in Spain, the Junta collaborates with the ‘Doña Cinia’ Residence located in León.

Since its establishment in 2000, SOLTRA has become a benchmark in contributing to social inclusion and equal opportunities.

Finally, the President of the Junta expressed gratitude for the significant work carried out by this company, which generates 500 jobs in León and promotes social integration.
