The Minister of Equality, the socialist Ana Redondo, has stated that the Government is «very calm» regarding the statement of the former Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán, which will take place on Monday, June 30, in the Supreme Court.

Speaking to the media in Valladolid, where she participated in the Pride Day march, Redondo recalled that «that gentleman no longer belongs to the PSOE» and the central Government is «very calm».

In this sense, she pointed out that «in any association, in any political party, in any human group, there may arise that character who violates the law,» but «the important thing is how you react.»

She highlighted the «reaction of the PSOE,» which «has always been a quick reaction, a strong reaction, and a reaction to remove those allegedly corrupt individuals who violate all values and principles. The PSOE is an honest, honorable party that has fully demonstrated that it does not tolerate corruption within its ranks,» she concluded.
