Este fin de semana, Valladolid será sede de una competición internacional de automodelismo de vehículos eléctricos todoterreno. El circuito de Terradillos (Carretera Renedo, km. 3) acogerá el Campeonato de Europa, donde los mejores pilotos se reunirán.
Organizado por el ATV Racing Valladolid, con la colaboración de la Fundación Municipal de Deportes, la Diputación de Valladolid y la Junta de Castilla y León, este evento contará con la participación de 144 pilotos de 19 países en las categorías junior, senior y +40.
La inauguración oficial será el viernes a las 19:00 horas, con el desfile de los países participantes. Los entrenamientos oficiales comenzarán por la mañana. El sábado se llevarán a cabo las clasificatorias y el domingo, las finales desde las 9:15 horas.
Cada piloto competirá en tres rondas finales, y los dos mejores resultados determinarán la clasificación final. La entrega de trofeos será el domingo alrededor de las 5 de la tarde.
Fan zone para los «nuevos» pilotos
Como novedad, se ha habilitado una Fan zone para que el público pueda experimentar la emoción de conducir vehículos de automodelismo. De 12 a 14 horas, tanto el sábado como el domingo, se podrá disfrutar de esta experiencia en el circuito de Terradillos.

Organized by ATV Racing Valladolid, with the collaboration of the Municipal Sports Foundation, the Provincial Council of Valladolid, and the Castilla y León Regional Government, the European Championship will bring together a total of 144 pilots from 19 countries, distributed in the junior, senior, and +40 categories.
The official inauguration of the event will be on Friday at 7:00 p.m., with a parade of the participating countries, although official training sessions will be held from early in the morning. On Saturday, the 4 qualifying heats will take place, which will establish the order of the final races starting on Sunday from 9:15 a.m.
Each pilot will have to compete in three final rounds, and the two best results will determine the final classification. The trophy presentation will take place on Sunday around 5 p.m.
Fan zone for «new» pilots
The organization has carefully prepared this championship and, as a novelty, offers the attending public a Fan Zone area to practice with model vehicles. From 12 to 2 p.m., both on Saturday and Sunday, anyone interested can come to the Terradillos circuit and experience the thrill of driving these cars on a specially prepared track.
