The Junta de Castilla y León, through the Agency of Civil Protection and Emergencies, deploys an extensive search operation, led from the Coordinating Center of Civil Protection Emergencies, to try to locate a 61-year-old man missing in the town of Toro, Zamora.

A call received at 11:13 pm yesterday through 112 reported the disappearance of a 61-year-old man, with cognitive impairment, last seen at 8:45 pm at the Day Center in the town. The person is tall and slim, with a long goatee, wearing gray sweatpants with a white stripe, white sneakers, maroon sweatshirt, and black jacket.
The Agency of Civil Protection and Emergencies has activated the Advanced Command Post (PMA) mobilized by the Logistics Support Unit in Emergencies (UALE), technicians from the Coordinating Center of Emergencies, the Rescue and Salvage Group of the Junta de Castilla y León to fly over the vicinity of the town, the Phoenix drone Unit, personnel from the Environment department, as well as the volunteer civil protection groups from Toro and Villaralbo. Also participating are the Local Police and Firefighters from the Zamora Provincial Council along with members of the Civil Guard.
In the operation, under the direction of the emergency and the single command of the Junta de Castilla y León, and coordinated by the technical team of the Coordinating Center of Emergencies from the Advanced Command Post, all agencies are integrated.
