La capitanía de Valladolid en referencia a la Tapa es firme, al igual que lo es el compromiso de la Concejalía de Turismo, Eventos y Marca Ciudad, de difundir y extender la cultura de la tapa a nivel nacional e internacional. Prueba de ello, es el convenio que la Sociedad Mixta para la Promoción del Turismo ha firmado con la empresa EV Gastro, en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, para asesorar la organización y el desarrollo del Concurso de Tapas de Cataluña en las anualidades 2025 y 2026.
Dicha celebración, se llevará a cabo, como en pasadas ediciones, conforme a las normas reguladoras del Campeonato Nacional de Pinchos y Tapas Ciudad de Valladolid, que este año celebrará su 21ª edición el próximo mes de noviembre.
Desarrollo del concurso
Tal y como se recoge en el contrato firmado, el Concurso deberá regirse por una serie de normas: en primer lugar, las inscripciones se dirigirán a cocineros y cocineras profesionales residentes en cualquier municipio de Cataluña, y, además, solo podrán admitirse chefs profesionales en activo. El Concurso tendrá que estar formado por un jurado profesional y se organizará bajo una dirección profesional independiente. Por otra parte, para la puesta en marcha del mismo, el evento deberá contar con la participación de un mínimo de 15 chefs.
Los tres primeros clasificados del Concurso Autonómico de Tapas de Cataluña tendrán derecho a la participación directa en la final del Concurso Nacional de Pinchos Tapas, Ciudad de Valladolid correspondiente, que se celebra en Valladolid cada año. Además, la empresa pasa a formar parte del Concurso como patrocinador ‘Destino Colaborador’ en la edición de 2025.
Con el objetivo de dar cumplimiento al contrato, ambas partes establecerán anualmente un Plan de Trabajo orientativo y conjunto y elaborarán una memoria que resuma el trabajo realizado. Para que ambos compromisos se ejecuten correctamente se pondrá en marcha un Comité de Seguimiento.
